• All who want to show up in solidarity with our Haitian kin are invited! There will be a heavy emphasis on prayer and our Christian faith, but all are welcome.

  • Honestly, not really. We will join together for prayer, conversation, storytelling, and music. When that has wrapped up - we’ll share a meal together. We guess we’ll be done by 5:30. Maybe earlier! Maybe later! We don’t want to limit what God will be up to in our midst.

  • Yes! We have a dream of folks from different backgrounds and experiences coming together around prayer and solidarity. However, we realize many of us have differing levels of comfort and safety in situations like this. You can always remove yourself to a place of safety and solitude in the sanctuary if needed.

  • While our friends from the Haitian community have told us that prayer is the most needed thing at this time, we also want to work toward fulfilling needs that will be arising. In addition to forming friendships, look for ways to contribute to needs during/after the event.

  • We would appreciate any amount to help offset the cost for the meal. We often suggest a $5 donation but you can certainly provide more. Any money above that cost will go toward supporting our immigrant neighbors.

  • Collaborative, honest, and straightforward. We're here to guide the process, bring ideas to the table, and keep things moving.
