Investing in our Roosevelt Elementary Partnership

3rd Annual School Prep Work Day

Monday, August 25, 4-7pm

We will again be helping to prepare for the start of the school year by providing some sprucing up of the grounds and improving the play areas.  This year there will also be opportunities to help teachers and/or staff as they prepare classrooms and materials for the students.  Please contact Brian Grow by email to sign-up.

Student Mentoring/Tutoring

We will also begin our 3rd year of our involvement with students in the school setting as mentors and tutors.  This is a wonderfully rewarding experience for the students and their mentors/tutors and a compelling witness to the kingdom of God right here in our neighborhood.  For  some inspiration, please view our video.  Please contact Brian Grow by email to learn more.

Meals on Wheels - Drivers

Every five weeks FPC provides volunteers to deliver meals on 5 routes, Monday through Friday, for Meals on Wheels.  Each volunteer, alone or with a partner, delivers the prepared meals to approximately 10 listed residences which takes approximately 1 1/2 hours.  We could use regular and substitute drivers.
