Investing in our Roosevelt Elementary Partnership

Student Mentoring/Tutoring

We will begin our 4th year of our involvement with students in the school setting as mentors and tutors.  This is a wonderfully rewarding experience for the students and their mentors/tutors and a compelling witness to the kingdom of God right here in our neighborhood.  For  some inspiration, please view our video.  Please contact Brian Grow by email to learn more.

Roosevelt Elementary School

Join in our church-wide relationship with Roosevelt, our neighborhood school!  There are many ways to be involved:  mentor a child, provide class-room support, volunteer for after-school/evening events or help out in the school office.

Meals on Wheels - Drivers

Every five weeks FPC provides volunteers to deliver meals on 5 routes, Monday through Friday, for Meals on Wheels.  Each volunteer, alone or with a partner, delivers the prepared meals to approximately 10 listed residences which takes approximately 1 1/2 hours.  We could use regular and substitute drivers.
