Always be Joyful

“Always be joyful. Never stop praying. Be thankful in all circumstances, for this is God’s will for you who belong to Christ Jesus.” I Thessalonians 5:16-18

Reflect on these verses in the first epistle from Paul to the Thessalonians. After reading the passage a few times through, what do you think it might be saying to be joyful ALWAYS? Is this possible? How?

What about the idea to never stop praying? Could prayer look different than we might think if we are called to pray without ceasing?

Where in your life right now are you finding the most joy? Where does it feel like joy might be lacking?
