city gate

We have the opportunity to serve the neighbors in our community who are homeless. We serve a meal to them at City Gate the second Saturday of every month.

Logos

Nearly every Wednesday students from Praxis head out to West Central to help Westminster Presbyterian Church put on "Logos." We play games, lead small groups, and generally love on kids in need of Christ's love.

The fourth Thursday of every month, spend a few hours providing childcare for teen moms. It is a chance for these young moms to have a break and attend a life skills class, enjoy a meal, or get their nails done. It is from 6pm-8pm at the YFC building (1309 N. Ash).

easter project

Each Spring Break we send dozens of students and adults to Casa Hogar de los Ninos in Tijuana, Mexico. We spend the week building homes for families in need, wrestling with poverty & injustice, and finding Christ in the smile of a child at the orphanage. Not a bad way to spend a week...

Our Student Leadership mission trip! Each year during the 1st week of August our student leaders put on a high quality VBS at South Beach Presbyterian church in Westport, WA. We spend the mornings sharing the love of Jesus with the kids of Westport and spend the rest of the day building community, our faith, and our foundation for Praxis in the Fall.
