Communitas Announcements

Wednesdays at the Park

This summer on most Wednesdays there will be a get together for folks to informally come and hang out at a playground with our kids, our friends' kids, and our grandkids. On Wed, July 2, we'll be at Polly Judd Park at 10:30am. Come!

Man Night (7.7.14, 5:15pm at Steam Plant Grill)

Just another chance to come together with guys from Communitas to discuss a thorny-yet-interesting theological topic over half-price appetizers and good beverages. The Steam Plant Grill is located at 159 S Lincoln St, Spokane, WA 99201. Park in the lot north of the building and they'll reimburse the cost of parking.

Women's Hike (7.12.14, Bowl & Pitcher)

Saturday, July 12, the women of Communitas and their friends are invited to a fun hike. Meet at the church at 9:30 or at Bowl & Pitcher at 10. Be sure to contact Mia to RSVP. In addition, Mary Jo Andrews, Mia Ernst, and others are passionate about building a thriving network of friendships between women in our community. This summer has already included an evening hike and other informal hangouts. Let her know if you have an idea for an upcoming gathering... or if you'd even want to host something like this!

Prayer and Omelettes

Ever feel like praying for anything and everything going on in your life and our world with a bunch of friends? And then sitting around eating world-class omelettes? Well then this is your lucky day. 6:40-8am, Thursday mornings at the OakHouse (1203 S. Oak 99204... SE corner of 12th/Oak). Nick G, Addie G, Ross C, Alison C, Allison L, & Ella K are regular attenders; email Ross to let us know you're dropping in.

A Group of Friends In Your Neighborhood

Communitas Small Groups are happening in a home or coffee shop near you. This is a great chance to dive into community with a purpose. At Communitas, we believe small groups are essential to Kingdom living, and we encourage you to consider joining one as a way to deepen friendships and your faith. Check out our small groups page for details on when/where our groups meet, and feel free to email Asher to discuss which group might be best for you.
